My art is the landscape, in panoramic or intimate close-up views, expressions of glimpses seen close to home, places I’ve lived before, or far away places I’ve visited.

The paintings have a contemporary edge, created to share with you, the viewer, what I see and feel about a place.

Communicating in the language of paint, my intention is to tell more than facts about a place, drawing you in closer to discover nuance, meaning, and a new way to see the beauty around us.

Each work is a dance between abstraction and representation, complexity and simplicity, the two-dimensional surface and the three-dimensional subject.

I try to please the eye and touch the heart.
